Texans to start Rosenfels  Comments

The Texans will start quarterback Sage Rosenfels instead of Matt Schaub Sunday versus the Indianapolis Colts in the regular season home opener at Reliant Stadium.

Schaub fell ill with a virus Saturday night and was taken to a local hospital, but he is active as the Texans' second quarterback for today's game. Tight end Owen Daniels is the Texans' emergency quarterback.

In five starts with the Texans in 2007, Rosenfels was 4-1. He played in 10 total games last year and finished with a career-high 1,684 passing yards and 15 touchdowns.
