New Orleans, LO --- The New Orleans Saints listed running back Reggie Bush among their inactives for Week 14 at Atlanta, and The Times-Picayune reports that he'll miss the rest of the season after Dr. James Andrews confirmed the earlier diagnosis of a torn posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to a league source with knowledge of the results. "It's been a very bad knee for about four weeks, and he shouldn't have been playing on it," the source said.

Analysis: If the report proves valid, the Saints will likely place Bush on injured reserve in the coming days, and we might wait to hear from them before we cut Bush in Fantasy. Obviously, this news hurts Bush owners down the stretch, but hopefully they've latched on to Aaron Stecker and Pierre Thomas by now. Bush will reportedly need only rehab, not surgery, to recovery from the injury, making him a safe pick in Fantasy for 2008.
