Media angers Cowboys coach  Comments

It's about time somebody got mad around here. Win or not, if you stink, step right up and tell the truth, the whole truth, and, oh, yeah, admit just how damn lucky can you be when the put-away touchdown pass in the last two minutes on lowly Cincinnati was a H-O-R-S-E shot through the hands of Miles Austin into the lap of a surprised Patrick Crayton. "You stink," was Wade Phillips' postgame exit comment heard by a multitude of gathered media. A couple of minutes later, Wade's anger was also on display as he walked through the locker room using adult-type language. You want mad, Wade got mad at a media question. This question: "Does all that matter here is the win, when it was a game where you played well in the first quarter, and then pretty much stunk the rest of the way?" "I just got upset at 'stunk,'" a cooled-off Phillips explained later. "I didn't think we stunk. It's just that we don't make excuses for losses, and then [the media] wants us to make excuses when we win."
