Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid told reporters Monday that Kevin Kolb has a "pretty good chance" to start at quarterback Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

Kolb made his second consecutive start in place of Michael Vick in the Eagles' 31-17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday.

"You're dealing with one of the most competitive guys you're ever going to meet," Reid said of Kolb on Monday. "Does he want to play? Absolutely. Does he want to be a starter? Absolutely. Does he know he can be a starter? Absolutely."

Vick sustained a rib cartilage injury during a Week 4 loss to the Washington Redskins and hasn't played since.

Kolb hit 23 of 29 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns. The Eagles told Vick, who served as their third quarterback Sunday, to remain in the locker room all game.

Vick replaced Kolb after the latter was injured during the season opener, then he led the Eagles to two victories. Kolb took over as starter last week and helped the Eagles defeat the San Francisco 49ers.
