Kitna: 'I'll take the 15 yards' has 0 comments

Detroit, MI --- Detroit Lions quarterback Jon Kitna isn't worried about the Dallas Cowboys beating up on him Sunday at Ford Field just because he beat up on them on a Seattle radio station months ago.

"Are they going to want to hit me harder," Kitna said today. "I doubt it. I mean, this is the NFL, and they're good football players. Obviously they don't need any extra motivation. They're 11-1."

Told Cowboys cornerback Terence Newman was willing to take a fine to hit him, Kitna said: "That's all right. I'll take the 15 yards." This goes back to last season.

The Lions beat the Cowboys in the finale, 39-31. Kitna, who is from the Seattle area, went on one of his hometown radio stations sometime afterward. According to Kitna, he was just having fun and his lighthearted comments seem more serious when printed (and, apparently, posted on bulletin boards).
