Quarterback J.P. Losman agreed to undisclosed terms with the Seattle Seahawks, NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported Tuesday, citing a league source.

Before briefly joining the Oakland Raiders in December, Losman led the Las Vegas Locomotives to a 5-2 record and the inaugural UFL championship. He completed 62.1 percent of his passes for 1,386 yards and nine touchdowns with just two interceptions.

Losman has thrown for 6,211 yards and 33 touchdowns with 34 interceptions during his six-year NFL career.

Losman, who was the Buffalo Bills' first-round pick in 2004, appeared in only one game for the Raiders and threw one pass. In Seattle, he joins a quarterback crew of Matt Hasselbeck, Charlie Whitehurst and Mike Teel.

The Seahawks released former Central Washington record-setting quarterback Mike Reilly on Tuesday, two weeks after claiming him off waivers from the St. Louis Rams.
