Denvers Javon Walker a 'long shot' Week 11 has 0 comments

Denver, CO --- Broncos wide receiver Javon Walker (knee) did not practice Wednesday as the team prepares for Week 11 vs. Tennessee. Walker has missed the last four games after undergoing knee surgery and is usually ruled out by Wednesday.

Although he did not practice, Walker was limited to lightly running routes and catching passes on Wednesday, according to NFL.com. "It felt good just to run around and catch some balls," Walker said. "Every day will be just another step to being game-ready."

Head coach Mike Shanahan has acknowledged that Walker is "probably a long shot" to return Week 11 against the Titans. But it is definitely a good sign to see him starting to work his way back into game shape. "I’m just kind of taking the time to see what the coaches and trainers want me to do," Walker said. "They just don’t want anything to be another setback, so they’re going to kind of monitor it, and hopefully whenever they feel comfortable for me to get out there and start practicing, that’s what I’m going to go ahead and do."

Walker has 19 catches for 230 yards and zero touchdowns in three games. Fantasy owners should prepare to be without Walker for Week 11, but now might be the time to take a flier on him for his inevitable return
