"If I finish the season averaging (3.4 yards) a carry, I won't play next year. I'll be done," Jacobs told ESPN Radio in New York. "That's how much I believe in my ability."
Jacobs rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of the past two seasons, when he averaged 5 yards per carry each year. The bruising (6-4, 264 pounds) tailback has not been as effective in the Giants' 3-0 start.

hier könnte man vermuten, das Jacobs im Zweifelsfall einen Trade suchen könnte. das ein oder andere team könnte einen RB von diesem kaliber gebrauchen.

Meint ihr etwa DER Ahmad Bradshaw, der am Sonntag gegen die Raiders vorzeitig mit einer Knöchelverletzung in die Kabine gegangen ist und danach keinen einzigen Carry mehr bekommen hat?
Das müsste doch auch DER Ahmad Bradshaw sein, der gestern nicht trainiert hat und dessen Status von den Giants absolut geheimgehalten wird, oder?
Vielleicht ist es sogar DER Ahmad Bradshaw, der eine "season-ending injury" hat? MRI ist für Mittwoch angesetzt, weil Knöchel stark geschwollen...

wir meinen aber auch den Ahmad BRADSHOW der im schnitt 3 yard mehr läuft als DEIN Brandon Jacobs.
und wir meinen auch den Ahmad BRADSHOW der seit 2 wochen limited in practice ist und dann im spiel mit 11 läufen 110 yards macht ( auch wenn es die raiders waren - hätte der jacabos aber auch machen können )
