Super Bowl ad: Inside Chad Johnson's party Comments
(Jan. 29, 2007) -- With the Super Bowl in the state known for "Hanging Chads," NFL Network puts a unique spin on its Super Bowl message this year.The theme is a Super Bowl party hosted by flamboyant Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson for his friends -- and it's quite a cast of characters who show up to hang with Chad on Super Bowl Sunday.
"Hanging with Chad" is NFL Network's 30-second television message airing during CBS's Super Bowl XLI broadcast on Sunday, Feb. 4.
For the fourth consecutive Super Bowl, the 39-month-old cable and satellite channel dedicated to the National Football League and the sport of football will have a message in the big game. This time it focuses on one of the games' most colorful personalities and the eclectic group of people who attend his Super Bowl party and represent the diversity of the NFL's enormous audience.
The spot features the following people:
* DAVID BECKHAM (England's star footballer)
* JANET RENO (Former U.S. Attorney General)
* MARTHA STEWART (Domestic Diva)
* JIMMY FALLON (Comedian and actor)
* LL COOL J (Actor and musician)
* RASCAL FLATTS (Country music artists)
* TRIUMPH the INSULT COMIC DOG (Robert Smigel)
* ANGUS T. JONES (portrays son Jake in CBS comedy Two and A Half Men)
* CHAD JOHNSON (Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver)
* REGGIE BUSH (New Orleans Saints running back)
* EDGERRIN JAMES (Arizona Cardinals running back)
* WARREN SAPP (Oakland Raiders defensive lineman)
* AVID NFL FAN (Matt Aselton)
